Welcome to the Probus Club of Moreton-in-Marsh. We are a friendly group of retired professionals and businessmen who meet regularly at a town centre pub to hear a variety of guest speakers. WHAT'S ON
MEETINGS
We meet in the morning of the second and fourth Monday of every month, excluding bank holidays. There is only one meeting in December. One meeting in January is our AGM. Our regular meetings are held at The Swan Inn on the High Street in Moreton, commencing at 10:30. After a short session to conduct club business and to enjoy coffee and biscuits, we invite our guest speakers to make their presentation. We are normally finished around midday. Several members will then have lunch together in The Swan. Our current programme is shown on the Meetings page. Keep an eye on this page as speakers may change as the year progresses.
EVENTS
During the year we arrange a programme of social events to which our wives and partners are invited. Regular events are Skittles evenings, a Spring Supper, the Annual Ladies’ Night, our Chairman’s Afternoon Tea Party, and Christmas Lunch. Outings to theatres and concerts are also arranged regularly. Our plans for the current year are still in development but we expect them to be similar to previous years. Please watch out for news as event details are confirmed.
